How a fearless creator transformed passion, discipline, and artistry into a global creative legacy
Few artists embody multidimensional creativity the way Andrey Batt does. A storyteller at heart, a performer by spirit, and an athlete by discipline, Batt’s journey is a vivid tapestry woven across continents, mediums, and milestones — from the basketball courts of Europe to the filming sets of Los Angeles.
Born in Tallinn and raised between Estonia and Moscow, Andrey stepped into the world of performance at just nine years old, starting on school stages where his love for acting first took root. But his path was never linear. Alongside his creative pursuits, he excelled in basketball, eventually rising into competitive leagues — a discipline that would later shape his work ethic and artistic resilience.

At 17, Andrey created his first documentary, Remix Tape, a VHS-filmed passion project blending basketball culture, early hip-hop influences, and the rawness of youth. What began as a personal experiment quickly gained underground momentum, becoming a grassroots sensation among young creatives and athletes. It was the first glimpse of a filmmaker unafraid to blur genres, cultures, and perspectives.
His journey soon spanned oceans, taking him from Moscow to Los Angeles, where he expanded into acting, music, production, and voice performance. From TV commercials to hit singles, Batt steadily built a portfolio that reflected both versatility and authenticity. In 2016, he reached a remarkable milestone: performing a live halftime show at a EuroLeague game — a rare blend of his two lifelong passions, sport and music.

But his defining leap came with the launch of The Artist’s Adventures, a documentary series that quickly became one of the highest-rated titles across major streaming platforms. Known for its immersive storytelling and intimate exploration of creative cultures, the series solidified Batt’s reputation as a world-class filmmaker and creative visionary.
Most recently, Andrey brought his voice to international audiences as Marty, the lead character in the Canadian animated feature The Butterfly Tale, showcasing yet another dimension of his artistic range.

And now, as the world looks ahead to 2026, Andrey’s story comes full circle: a remastered global release of Remix Tape, the documentary that started it all. Restored, reimagined, and reintroduced to a new generation, the film echoes the essence of his journey — passion, evolution, and unwavering creative spirit.
In a world of specialists, Andrey Batt stands boldly as a multidimensional artist: a creator who refuses to fit into a single category, and who continues shaping his story with curiosity, discipline, and unstoppable imagination.
A visionary. A performer. A storyteller redefining what it means to be an artist in the modern era.
