An electrifying rebirth fueled by cultural roots, creative clarity, and pure rhythmic energy — that is the force driving Santiago Garza, the artist the world knows as PEGASO, into one of the most defining eras of his career. With his upcoming Afro House album “Electricidad”, set for release in late December 2025 or early January 2026, the Mexican producer and musician enters a new realm of sonic identity, authenticity, and creative purpose.
Sung entirely in Spanish, Electricidad marks the realization of a dream Santiago has carried for years — a project that waited for the perfect moment of emotional alignment and artistic maturity. The album blends completely new compositions with fresh Afro House reinterpretations of two songs from his personal catalog. Through hypnotic grooves, pulsing percussion, and syncopated rhythms, PEGASO channels the vibrant heartbeat of Afro House, infusing it with Latin soul and expressive storytelling.
Despite being a prolific artist with an evolving discography, Santiago admits he rarely listens to his own music. Electricidad, however, changed that.
“It feels like the music I actually consume — Electronic, House, Afro. That’s my world.”
Coming off the unexpected success of his Bachata experiment, PEGASO emerged with one resounding lesson: never say never. That chapter opened doors across Latin America, expanding his artistic reach and reshaping his creative vision. Now, Electricidad represents not only musical evolution — but personal revelation.
The upcoming era is set to ignite with a full Electricidad Tour, followed by a major concert special filmed in Mexico City in February or March 2026, capturing the energy, intimacy, and transformation behind the album.
