After calling out wealth hoarding at a star-studded awards show, the singer doubles down with a scathing message aimed directly at the world’s richest tech mogul.
Billie Eilish is making her stance on billionaire wealth impossible to ignore. Days after criticizing extreme wealth during her acceptance speech at the WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards, the Grammy-winning singer escalated her message — this time directing her frustration squarely at Elon Musk.
On Thursday, the Birds of a Feather singer shared a blistering series of Instagram Story slides, beginning with a repost from My Voice, My Choice highlighting Musk’s immense net worth and suggesting ways his wealth could meaningfully impact global crises. The slides outlined issues Musk could help solve, including world hunger, endangered species protection, and the rebuilding of Gaza, Syria, and Ukraine.

Eilish ended the sequence with a stark black screen containing her own words — an explosive message calling Musk a “f—ing pathetic p—y bitch coward.”
The post instantly lit social media on fire, amplifying the singer’s ongoing criticism of billionaire culture and wealth inequality.
Eilish’s fiery message follows her speech at the WSJ. Magazine Innovator Awards on October 29, where she accepted the Music Innovator Award. Addressing a room filled with celebrities — including billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan — she urged the wealthy to do more for the world.
“We’re in a time where the world is really, really bad and really dark, and people need empathy and help more than ever,” she said. “If you have money, it would be great to use it for good things… If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties.”
Her remarks underscored a theme she has been vocal about: massive wealth that isn’t used toward meaningful global progress.
While Eilish is calling on billionaires to redistribute their wealth, she’s also taking significant action herself. During the same awards ceremony, Stephen Colbert announced on her behalf that she would donate $11.5 million from her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour to organizations dedicated to food equity, climate justice, carbon reduction, and environmental advocacy.
“On behalf of humans everywhere, thank you,” Colbert said as the audience applauded.
Beyond music, Billie Eilish continues to carve out a space as one of the most influential voices on climate justice, social responsibility, and wealth inequality. Her latest tirade against Musk isn’t just a celebrity feud — it reflects her broader frustration with what she sees as hoarded wealth and missed opportunities for global good.
Eilish’s willingness to speak bluntly — and act decisively — has sparked both praise and debate. But one thing is certain: she’s not backing down anytime soon.
